The Catholic Church is the Church that the Lord Christ Jesus founded with his resurrection from the dead and his giving of the Holy Spirit. Our parish, St Catherine of Alexandria, is part of the Diocese of San Jose (covering Santa Clara County).  The bishop of our diocese, Patrick McGrath, is in communion with the other Catholic bishops of the world, under the leadership of the bishop of Rome, Pope Benedict XVI.  We believe that we can offer you the fullness of Christianity.  We are a Biblical Church. We are a Sacramental Church. We have 2000 years of tradition that has been handed to us and that we are handing on.  We would like to hand on this tradition to you in a way that will satisfy your needs.
